Kargro is a leader in the circular processing of commercial vehicle tires. The company is actively engaged in purchasing, storing, selling, and transporting tires on an international basis.
Kargro operates twenty-seven EURO 6 trucks responsible for transporting inspected and selected tires from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Northern France to the company's head office in Montfoort.
The company sources its tyres from tyre specialists, transport companies, and truck tyre manufacturers. It then conducts inspections, makes selections, and approves the dismantled truck tire casings.
The outcome of this assessment and selection process is straightforward. Either the casings are deemed eligible for retreading and are subsequently purchased and sent to Banden Plan Europa, or their lifespan cannot be extended any further, and they are transported to Kargro Recycling for a fee.
Tyres are inspected daily by large teams of experienced inspectors. All approved tyres during the selection process are sorted by brand and size, after which they are stored either in the Montfoort or Emmeloord facility.
Kargro inspections are conducted with the support of the Casing Registration System, a unique, independent, cost-saving, and digital processing system for customers of Kargro BV. This system provides the company's customers with insights into the wear process of their commercial vehicle tires. Additionally, it analyzes early failures and can optimize the returns on mileage contracts. All data generated by this system can be evaluated online and on location.
